Travel Agency "Discover Sighnaghi" and "Maya" Family Hotel

Sighnagi is a small township in the eastern part of Kakheti.
It is famous for its castle which has the same name. The castle is on the list of the most well-known and bi castles in Georgia. The walls of the castle have survived, which is a real miracle. Today the wall surrounds a part of the town and goes farther beyond it. The wall has many watch towers which are overlooking the most picturesque view of the Alazani River valley.
Throughout centuries Sighnagi was a trade center. Many of the caravan routes were passing it. It used to be a tourist site in the soviet period which was visited by many admirers of Georgian wine. There are numerous historical and cultural monuments of Kakheti in the areas adjoining Sighnagi.
Today Sighnagi impresses visitors with its unique charm. A couple of years ago it was fully reconstructed and now it looks like a fairy tale town on the way of travelers on the roads of wonderful Georgia.
Sighnagi is a town of love. Once decided you can have a wedding there any time, day and night.
Sighnagi is a town of arts, as well. There is a branch of National Historical Museum of Georgia there. Every week-end the museum is hosting exhibitions and presentations.
Sighnagi is a real pearl in the cultural heritage of Georgia.

The company "Discover Sighnaghi" Ltd was founded in 2008.
It is the first private company in the field of tourism in Sighnaghi.
The company offers: to arrange cultural, religious and eco tours for groups and individual tourists; to book hotel rooms, hire guides, interpreters, and rent cars; wine tasting (folklore show, singers), picnics and camping; to accompany you to exhibition halls and handicraft workshops.

We offer our services to schools; institutions, students and any organizations based in Georgia, Working languages of the company are Georgian, English and Russian.
Guides working with us have 3 years working experience, as minimum.
We have made exclusive contracts with experts of history, ethnography etc to better serve our visitors.

"Maya" Family Hotel
The company has its own family Hotel, which is in a picturesque place with an unforgettable view around.
There are three rooms, a sitting-room, a kitchen, parking on the territory of the Hotel.
Catering depends on pre-agreement.
